You can as well lodge elsewhere, but in this case we will not be
able to assist you, nor to offer any special discount.
We secured a very special discount rate for full board accommodation
(including breakfast, lunch and
dinner; standard drinks -- water and wine -- at meals are included,
you may have to pay some extra for extra drinks).
The Hotel Palmassera offers three kinds of accommodation:
*** three stars (this is the only one which was available
in previous SPT)
***c three stars confort (three stars rooms being renovated during
the winter)
**** four stars (this section was built after last SPT)
The rates for partecipants to SPT2002, based on stays covering the whole
conference, are as follows.

In single room: 46 Euro /day
THREE STARS CONFORT In single room: 54 Euro /day
FOUR STARS In single room: 66 Euro /day
Adults staying in third or fourth bed in a double room: 20% discount.

The above rates are for full board.
Rooms will be available at 17.00 on the arrival day and have to be
vacated by 10.00 on departure day.
Down payment at reservation: 20%. This will be retained if resevation is cancelled.
If you require an invoice rather than a simple receipt, please ask this
as early as possible
and however before your final payment.
Reservations
To reserve your accommodation, you will be required to make an advance
payment of
about 20% of the total fare (the deadline for this is 20
april);
please await until after 1 march to make your reservations.
After the deadline rooms will not be retained for the conference, so
you are not guaranteed
to obtain accommodation.
This year the conference organization will not take part in the
reservation process, at the
exception of reservation for participants coming from countries such
that the fund transfer
is impossible or very difficult; if you are in this situation please
contact spt@sptspt.it
In all other cases, you have to take care yourself of your reservation.

Note that this office is handling all the TIVIGEST villages across
Italy and can easily
happen to be overloaded, so don't be worried if they take some time
to answer your e-mail.
You will be required to pay by bank transfer, and to send a fax with
a copy of
the receipt of your bank (amount AND full detail of the operation,
so it can be traced
in case of problems) to the booking office at the fax number given
above.

Miscellaneous informations about accommodation.
Participants wishing to be lodged outside the Hotel Villaggio Palmassera
can do so, but will have to
arrange themselves for their accommodation.
The Hotel Villaggio Palmassera offers standard facilities free of charge
to partecipants; these include access
to the beach and to the swimming pool, to tennis court and of course
to the gardens. The Hotel Villaggio
Palmassera is also offering other activities which could involve payment
of a supplement.
Car rental is available in Cala Gonone, and also inside the Hotel Villaggio
Palmassera. Similarly, excursions
by boat along the coast and by jeep in the interior are organized in
Cala Gonone, and also directly by the Hotel
Villaggio Palmassera.
Please note that this year the extension of your stay at discounted
rate is only possible before the conference,
not after it (as it will be full tourist season).
The conference will start on early morning on monday 31 may, and
end in late afternoon on saturday 5 june;
we therefore ask all the partecipants to be in Cala Gonone by sunday
30 may (arrival day), and to leave
not earlier than sunday 6 june (departure day).
To secure accommodation in the Hotel Villaggio Palmassera, partecipants
will have to pay a caution (one night
or 20% of the total cost) in advance. You are required to make your
reservation by a deadline to be announced later on.
We have reserved a number of rooms for the conference; these will
be kept until the reservation deadline.
After this date rooms could still be available, but there
is no guarantee of this. Note that due to the tourist season, this year
finding accommodation could be harder than in previous occasions, so we
strongly recommend you make your reservation as soon as possible.
